I want to make sure that Marc Gelber's comments are read by as many as possible, so please read his piece below - it's what it's all about....

"At Lake Windward, acts of kindness and generosity by teachers, members of the staff, and all our volunteers are so common and frequent that it is very easy to take them for granted.  The other day at the Book Fair, some students became very attached to a book but didn't have enough money to purchase it.   Without a moments hesitation a staff member with the kids took money out of her own pocket so that the children would not be disappointed.  The more time I spend at the school the more amazed I become and the more fortunate I feel my children are.
